Partner visa holder contracting through my own EU company while in the UK — where do I pay tax?

Post

EU citizen, never UK resident, just got a partner visa (partner lives in London). Before entering the UK on the visa, I’ll register a small limited company back home and work through it remotely as a contractor for an EU client, from the UK, for anywhere between 1 month and a year, until I find a UK job. (I know about the 180 days rule so I am not planning on staying longer per year if I don’t find a job in this period window) The contracting is mainly so I can afford to stay in the UK for longer stretches while job hunting. My questions: 1. Since I have the visa, do I owe UK tax if I’m billing an EU client through my EU company while physically working from London? 2. Can I stay under ~180 days and avoid UK tax entirely. Does that rule even still apply to me now that I’m on a partner visa rather than a visitor? 3. Has anyone been in a similar situation, or can recommend what kind of professional to seek legal/tax advice from? Working and opening my contractor company would be temporary, the end goal is to move to the UK permanently and be employed there. Thanks!
