About a week ago we had a rainstorm. And because it was going to be a warm night even though it was raining, we decided to let the AC run through the night. However come morning we found that the AC wasn't on. The reason was because at some point in the night, the AC's LCDI cord flipped off. I think the cord got leaked on through the window, and now even a week later it immediately shuts the AC off when plugged in. Do I just need to replace the cord, or is there possibly something else I need to be concerned about? I hope it has a simple solution because it's summer and we can't afford to buy a whole new air conditioner or hire a professional to fix it.
