I bought this 2020 LE back in 2022 with 28k miles on it. It now has 80k. It has been good to me, but this winter a crack showed on my trunk and has spread significantly. I got a couple quotes and both are saying my trunk would need to be replaced which is about $1.6k. They said this must have been a bad repaint job at some point before I bought the car. Was looking for some opinions on next steps. Should I go ahead and fix it or start looking for a new car? It obviously doesn’t affect how the car runs, but it bugs me. I also have the funds to get a new car. I have been eyeing a 2026 SE Hybrid I saw online for around $29k. I am guessing I could get around $10k for this.
