What have you learned about how your menstrual cycle influences your weight? (Bonus points if you have PCOS!)

I’m getting into the long and slow groove of losing the last few pounds until I reach my goal, and I have been tracking my daily weight, 7-day rolling average weight, and a few other things, all alongside my menstrual cycle. On the one hand, I’m doing it to help remove some of the emotions attached to seeing change on the scale, but on the other, I’m trying to get a sense for how my menstrual cycle influences my weight when my activity and calorie intake are steady. Have you noticed anything about how your menstrual cycle reflects on the scale? Do you have a sense for when you may see your weight increase despite being in a deficit? Do you see Whooshes at specific times in your cycle? Bonus points if you also have PCOS! Curious to hear about y’all’s experiences.
