Should I transfer my old Microsoft account on my old laptop to my new laptop and have windows activated on it
Post
Last year I bought a new laptop and took it to a person to install Windows 11 on it. My old laptop still has Windows 10 on it and I left it so my family can use it. The problem is that the new laptop has a local account and is not connected to a Microsoft account. At first Windows was activated on it but now it says that it isn't and i have to activate it. On the windows 10 laptop that is not the problem, it's activated and working normally. Now, should i log in to that account on the new laptop and transfer that activation key, or is it better to continue using the local account that I have now. I've read about security concerns regarding having your laptop linked to a Microsoft account, but on the other hand i think it's good to have activated Windows. Also I have noticed that it's harder to connect my Bluetooth headphones on the new laptop and they disconnect constantly. When i try to go to settings to try and see the reason for this the system tells me that you have to activate windows to make changes. On the older laptop this wasn't a problem at all and i think i have this problem because I don't have it activated.
