hi, i have been on a weight loss journey since last year, it has been successful but of course, i had to sacrifice a lot for my diet (since CICO). i have made some mistakes at the beginning, for example, my calorie deficit was too high which is why i lost a lot of weight initially but i have been trying to fix that because i started to lose some energy for my workouts. that pretty much stabilised for me, now my biggest issue is unplanned "cheat days". i have skipped office gatherings, lunches with colleagues and even dinner plans with friends because i have always been eating cleaner and in a deficit on the weekdays, leaving space for the weekend to eat what i want (trying to stay at maintenance). this week, there are some important gatherings i can't skip but it came too abruptly that i can't plan around it.. i don't know why i feel guilty knowing i'll eat more than i have planned for. it's frustrating and sometimes, i lowkey forget what was my weight loss goal initially. it's like once i'm stuck in a diet, i should be FOREVER, if not i might rebound back to when i was overweight. any advice?
