Late starter success stories?

Post

Attempted uni as a "mature" student at 21 and dropped out as I was not convinced the course/path was for me, reapplying again at almost 30 but for a wildly different course with no definitive career aim. I've tried my hand at many different roles and always found myself missing something so this time I'm following my heart and studying something I'm passionate about even though it feels risky as a tough industry (equine) to establish yourself in. I've applied for a foundation year and placement year to give myself the best chance of success, optimising the extra time to scrub up my academic and practical skills, yet the idea of finishing my degree in my mid 30s makes me feel a little panicky for some reason? I would love to hear some anecdotes from later starters, career switchers, anyone and everyone that has something relevant to share! I'm prone to getting cold feet and switching up my plans but I really want to stick at this.
