Post

[Parent post: "Are these windows any good?"] Just bought a house and everyone keeps saying I need new windows but they look okay to me. They all open and close. It’s a little difficult on some but they do work. The sellers painted them to match the house. I personally love them but we haven’t lived in it yet so I can’t say how well they insulate. My husband and dad are insisting we change them now because bugs and dirt and energy efficien --- There are window coatings (non permanent clings) that increase energy efficiency all year round. You put them up yourself. You also can get insulated roman shades. I’ve made my own using the warm window system. These are what I’ve used with older single pane windows.
