Post
I was on Mounjaro a year ago & titrated up slowly bc of GI side effects from older GLP-1. I was stable & lost 20 lbs on 5 mg & when increased to 7.5 mg, could only tolerate it for a few months. Even with Zofran, the excessive nausea & vomiting really affected my daily functioning. So I stopped all last June. Well, of course, slowly gained it all back. Was doing to try it again & stayed at 5 mg but now my insurance will not authorize it (& can’t afford over $1K month) So I’m looking to try tirzepatide. Possible microdosing? I’m driving myself crazy reviewing all of the companies out there. Just when I think I find a good one that fits my budget & no membership or hidden fees, I read lots of bad reviews. I’m really looking to go month by month bc of by history of not tolerating it. But it seems, if you want a deal or reasonably priced, you have to commit for 3/6/12 months. This is long-winded, but would appreciate any recommendations of which companies are reputable & you had positive experiences with. Or any other words of wisdom. Thank you
