Prescribed 6.75mg from Apothecary and 7.5mg from Hallendale through Fifty410?????
Post
Hi everyone! This might have been answered somewhere, but I've been searching for answers and can't find anything. Anyway, I went through Fifty410 to get more Tirzepatide and I was give a few different options to consider, but I only wanted no additive options so I was looking at the two of these: 1. Hallandale - Hallandale Compounded Tirzepatide (No Additives) Starting at 7.5mg 2. Apothecary - 503B Tirzepatide (No Additives) Starting at 6.75 mg I noticed the difference in the mg -Hallandale being 7.5mg and Apothecary being 6.75mg and asked about it. The Fifty410 team said said " Each pharmacy offers different medication concentrations. Additionally, some pharmacies provide a more personalized approach, such as twice-weekly dosing or noncommercial dosing. Apothecary does not follow the standard commercial dosing (these are the 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, etc). However, their dosing is comparable, meaning the side effects and efficacy are similar. For example, their 6.75mg would be 7.5mg at other pharmacies" I know each vial can be different mL so you always have to be careful and make sure you are dosing the correct number of units, but I always thought the mg should be the same across all pharmacies? Did anyone do a lower dose when they moved over to Apothecary? Does Apothecary recommend doing this or is Fifty410 just doing this because there are no additives? If this is actually true, can someone send me some documentation from them or something that explains why we should be taking a lower mg with them?
