I made a fantasy themed system monitor for Linux

scoredskip

Post

It is not meant to replace a full system monitor, and it is not really aimed at power users who want every last bit of raw system data on screen. It has less info than btop, for example. I've uploaded a demo version with the AppImage to itchio This started with just an animated character overlay tracking cpu temperature. I have that working here, but some of the frames need cleanup from lefotver pixels when removing the background. When I get around to it I'll upload a separate AppImage to that page, and eventually merge the two apps. The plan is to make various themes you can select from. Cyberpunk, Wizard, Goblin, hand-drawn, etc. This one was just general fantasy/whatever I wanted, just to get it working. There are still quite a few things I want to change/improve here. I've tried to make it work on Windows and have seen some progress, but it's not a priority right now. Haven't tested it in any other Linux machine or distro (I use Mint). If someone decides to try it and problems arise, please let me know.

Summary

The post is about a fantasy-themed Linux system monitor app and has no meaningful connection to window replacement or home window issues.

Reasoning

This is clearly a software/project discussion, not a homeowner window problem or replacement inquiry. The only mention of Windows refers to the operating system, not house windows.
