Might have to stop Ozempic

discardedreach out

Post

I have been using Ozempic for a few months now. I did 0.25 for a month, then 0.5 for 2 months and I just finished 1 month on 0.75. The pens are ridiculously expensive (1/4th my salary) and in my country, the insurance limit wouldnt even cover one pen. After starting Ozempic, while i lost only 4kg, I did get my shape back, my body stopped swelling up, my cholesterol levels and pre-diabetes situation got sorted. I now actually have a jawline now. while the symptoms have been bad, it's also been a dream, to reduce the food noise (earlier i was smoking to reduce food noise, and that was bad) Anyway, I will probably only be able to buy the next month injection and have a conversation with my endocrinologist, cause it's just too expensive for me to continue. I am sad and tired. but its just how life is. so I guess Ill just have to figure it out, either how to stop safely with my doc, or maybe look for a 3rd job.
