Ive had my girly for 14 years now, and my bf lives with us since the beginIng of last year. I had another cat for 17 years until march 2025. But sadly, she was getting too old and well... so it's just been my 2nd cat and us since then. I admit I may give her less of my time since my bf is there, she used to sleep with me every night, but not anymore. When she asks for attention and I try to play with her, it can take a little more time for her to "get into it" and I get tired of trying before she starts to play, or she just comes to me to get Pets instead. She has a cat tree to climb in front of a window (we're on the 2nd floor), and she has like two toys with catnip. Over the years, I bought multiple cat toys, but I ended up losing money cause she was uninterested or afraid of them. So now all she does is sleep, be on my lap and look depressed (that's what my bf says), eat, and go outside. Is there something else I should do? Spend more time with her, doing what? And this morning, she got clingy right before I had to leave for work. Any tips welcome, TIA!
