TL;DR: If you quit cold turkey and had success, what did you do? What can I expect when going through this transition? Little background: 275 back in 2020 180 in 2024 - lost the weight through food lifestyle changes over years 200 in April 2025 - Got divorced and a mild depression, I gained some back Did 5mg zepbound from May-October 2025 with more food changes and prioritizing protein and got down to 167. Stopped November-January and took it easy through the holidays and got back to 174 in January. It is $400 a month for me. I cannot afford this. I did it for February, stopped in March, and did it again in April. I’ve never been above 5mg. I have one vial left and don’t think I can afford more. Maybe one more box. Currently: 153lbs , prioritizing protein more than ever, keeping a watch on calories and going to the gym 3-4x a week building some muscle. I am no stranger to hunger or food noise. Losing nearly 100lbs with just food changes over the years and no meds was hard. I started zepbound to just help me with my last leg in this journey. I’ve pretty much lost the weight I wanted to. Reality is I won’t be able to wean or titrate off like everyone says is the best way. I can’t afford it. Who has overcome the transition? What was your journey like? I am looking for some success stories here with people who were not able to wean or titrate off very much. I only ever did 5mg but still. What challenges can I expect? Thank you
