Post
Hello everyone, long time lurker of this sub and deciding to post because I’ve been a bit frustrated recently. I started calorie counting and meal prepping in September of 2024 when I stepped on the scale at my heaviest weight, and knew something had to change. I was 320lbs. I lost a lot of weight rapidly early, and then it happened more gradually and now I have been at this 290lb plateau for months. I figured it was time to add some more exercise to my lifestyle and did that for about a month before I had to stop for a while due to a non-workout related injury. I’m feeling better now and plan to go back to exercising, but I’m really struggling to get past this plateau still. Being here for so long has been disheartening. I’m eating roughly 1800-2000 calories a day, which is well under my TDEE of about 2800. (I’m a 6 foot tall man) Any advice anyone who has had a similar experience can share? I’m open to anything.
