[Parent post: "Are these windows any good?"] Just bought a house and everyone keeps saying I need new windows but they look okay to me. They all open and close. It’s a little difficult on some but they do work. The sellers painted them to match the house. I personally love them but we haven’t lived in it yet so I can’t say how well they insulate. My husband and dad are insisting we change them now because bugs and dirt and energy efficien --- This neighborhood is so quiet. Our winters are mildish 20-30s and summers hot but barely over 100’s. I live in a house now with old windows and we are fine. It does get dusty but we have dogs too
