[Parent post: "Is this water damage from failed window seal?"] Have a window that has a miserably failed window seal. Is the cracking to the paint on the bottom corners water damage or just crappy installation? I’ve got other windows that have the same cracked/splitting corners --- This is condensation running down the interior glass wetting the area. Its normal if your humidity is high inside your home and is same thing as dew on grass or fog on your windshield. Seal failure is different, that's when water gets trapped between the 2 panes of glass. Easy way to tell, wipe the window with your hand on both sides. If you can wipe away the water its condensation, if you cant its seal failure
