Lurker here! I'm planning to upgrade some parts of my prebuilt gaming PC, but I wanted to get a second opinion from you guys. I noticed that some of the parts are pretty expensive, so I'm starting to wonder if it would make more sense to just buy another prebuilt instead. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to PC parts, compatibility, etc., so I'd really appreciate any advice! I mostly play FPS, Simulation games and I'd like to install more games like RD2, Watchdogs, Dead by Daylight, etc. I use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic design projects and take home jobs. These are the specs of the gaming PC that I bought from BestBuy around 2022. I marked some of them with an asterisk to highlight the ones that I upgraded or replaced: CyberPowerPC - Gamer Master Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 5 5600G - 8GB Memory - AMD Radeon RX 6600 - 500GB SSD - Black (From Best Buy) CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5000 Series GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 Motherboard: B550 Motherboard (Note: I forgot the brand name) RAM (I added 2 more sticks): *CORSAIR - VENGEANCE RGB PRO 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16 UDIMM Desktop Memory + Memory Stick included from CyberPowerPC prebuilt (2x8GB) Storage: WDBlue SN5000 SSD 500GB NVMe (Note: I'm aiming for at least 2-4TB SSD) PSU: 600W (Note: I couldn't find the brand name but its included from the prebuilt) CPU Cooler: *ID-Cooling SE-214-XT Case: CyberPower PC (Note: Case is still fine and I want to keep it) Monitor: Samsung - Odyssey Gaming CRG5 Series 24” LED Curved FHD AMD FreeSync Monitor OS: Windows 11 If upgrading is still feasible, what would you guys recommend? My budget is around $1000-$1500 (I might be delusional lmao).
