Are there any companies around here that offer bad credit financing options or some sort of alternate financing options? I've been rejected by most lenders at this point and my 20 year old unit is on its last legs. Even a repair would likely need to be financed because money is too tight as is. Fans aren't cutting it. I dont have the spare money to buy a bunch of window units (half of the windows in this old house either dont open or barely open anyway). I don't know what to do at this point. I have a 3-year-old and an elderly dog I'm trying my hardest to keep cool. Any points in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!
