When I first started using Mint I wanted Cinnamon to look like Windows 7 / Vista but I got frustrated at how it looked without blur effects and transparent titlebars and how uncusomizable it seemed so I switched to KDE. Now I have my main computer for that running CachyOS with vistathemeplasma and I wanted Mint to run in my backup computer. I was gonna install KDE again but I decided to give Cinnamon another try now that I have far more Linux experience under my belt. I finally understand how it works now, it's so modern, so simple, yet so...beautiful...
