Is ozempic a good idea?

Post

I 23f (5 feet 6 inches) used to be 130-140lbs for the longest time until I got on 3 medications for anxiety and depression management and now I weigh 207lbs and am obese. I do not eat healthy at all right now, and I excessively consume takeout. However, the cravings will just not go away, and I find it very hard to lose weight naturally. I went to an obesity clinic and the first thing they brought up was medication which I refused right away but now I am reconsidering. I want to get pregnant in a few months and I am worried that at my weight It will make it harder. I read I just need to get off Ozempic about two months before trying to conceive. Do you think Ozempic is a good idea? Or if not Ozempic, just a GLP-1 in general? I am on the fence about it. On one hand, I would try to lose weight naturally, but the cravings are just unbearable and nothing I do will ever make them go away. I tried drinking the Metamucil and it was absolutely disgusting, so I’m thinking a GLP-1 will actually help suppress my appetite properly so that I can stop binging. What is everyone’s experience?
