Ozempic left me drained of energy, and when I attempted to lift something weighing about 5 pounds, after just a few steps, I experienced extreme muscle weakness and difficulty breathing. It felt as though I was about to faint. Unsure of what was happening, I visited the emergency room, where they told me I was dehydrated and provided an IV, but it didn't make any difference. Consequently, I opted to discontinue Ozempic when my next dose was due, and remarkably, I began to feel much better. I couldn’t believe that neither my primary care physician nor the ER staff could identify the connection to my health issues. I truly felt as if I was on the verge of death. My weakness made me feel akin to a 98-year-old man. I was prescribed Ozempic due to my type 2 pre-diabetes. I genuinely felt that I might not survive. The doctors advised me to consume more electrolytes and water, and I adhered to their recommendations, yet I noticed no change. Has anyone else experienced something similar?
