Post

[Parent post: "would you pay $13,000 for blinds?"] I just got a quote for blinds purchase + installation. I am looking to get roman shades for 9 windows in my house, this comes out to over $1,000 per window. Is this reasonable?? It feels a bit pricey to me. What is a normal price for something like this? How much is the installation worth? --- My wife wanted expensive blinds 7 years ago. We ended up going with the two stage (sheer and full black out) cordless cellular from Home Depot and they cut them to proper width in store. We did 8 windows for like $600. 7 years later they are still absolutely perfect

Summary

The commenter is sharing a past blinds purchase experience, not expressing current interest in replacement windows.

Reasoning

The comment discusses what they bought 7 years ago and how it worked out, which reads as anecdotal advice rather than active shopping. There is no mention of needing quotes, comparing window options, or planning a replacement project, so buying intent is very low.
