I lost 60 lbs 4 years ago and kept it off for 2 1/2 years. I slowly started gaining back and my body honestly felt out of my control! I was very upset and angry at how unfair life felt. I counted calories, planned my meals, weighed my food and the gain stopped at 35 lbs but I couldn't lose. I really tried 😪. I did it before so I knew how, but it wasn't working. I have been in a calorie deficit for months and the scale barely moved. Suddenly I started losing almost a pound a day. Shocked, I reviewed my food logs and I found I hadn't been eating any bread or pasta. It wasn't a decision I made, it was happenstance. I am now mindfully avoiding eating any bread or bread products and am continuing to lose about .5 lbs daily. My stomach is noticeably smaller. This is crazy! I am honestly shocked. Do I have some kind of gluten intolerance? Who else has had some crazy epiphany about food?
