Hey all, I'm in the market for an upgrade as my existing PC is getting kind of old. To preface this, I'm fairly new to Linux, this is my first year and when using windows I typically started upgrading my hardware around the 5-7 year mark and for my existing PC I'm at year 8. I want to get a new processor: planning on going AMD GPU: also going AMD But in doing so I'll need a new motherboard and also probably a new power supply. My question is: is there any kind of comprehensive list of compatible hardware? And alao If I buy whatever I want, would I be able to just "tinker" my way out of any problems that arise? Thanks in advance for reading and any advice is appreciated!

The post is about upgrading a computer and Linux hardware compatibility, not windows or home repair.
Reasoning
This is clearly a software/hardware shopping question about a PC build, with no indication the author is a homeowner dealing with window issues or considering window replacement.
