So I was just thinking about a pet peeve of mine that lead me to this question. I used to really love Knorr Rice Sides and the like to go with my meat. Since I’ve been dieting, I’ve completely cut them out since one of my diet rules is no refined grains. I feel like having a side of grains with my main meal just really completes it, but I haven’t found many options yet on what I’d really enjoy. I definitely want some flavor in whatever it is. Plain brown rice is busted to my palate. Do you guys have any suggestions on sides that I can pair with my protein for my main carb meal? I’m not a cooker, so the less prep required the better.
